Job summary

Ethereum Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. You will work on backend systems, REST APIs, and microservices using Django, Flask, or FastAPI, ensuring code quality and maintainability.

You will collaborate across disciplines, optimize databases (SQL/NoSQL), and implement authentication, security, and testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• Strong experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Excellent knowledge of REST API development.
• Strong understanding of SQL and database optimization.
• Experience in developing scalable backend applications.
• Good understanding of OOP concepts and software design principles.
• Experience with Git and agile development methodologies.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
• Build and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop backend services using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Write clean, reusable, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA, and product teams.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Implement unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing.
