Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies seeks an experienced Principal Python Developer for a 100% remote position in the United States. You will design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade Python systems, focusing on reliability, security, and performance in distributed production environments.

Collaborate with product, data, and infrastructure teams to translate business problems into robust solutions, mentor engineers, and elevate coding standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Five+ years of Python development experience in enterprise-grade environments.
• Experience building large-scale production applications with uptime requirements.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Sybase).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, design, build, test, release, and support.
• Proven experience in system design, development, testing, and operations.
• Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and performance trade-offs.
• Experience debugging complex enterprise applications in production.
• Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD, resiliency patterns, and secure coding.
