Job summary

AllSTEM Connections is recruiting on behalf of a leading client known for innovation in the digital product space. The contractor will focus on developing production-ready RESTful APIs and comprehensive SDLC documentation to enable enterprise IT integration.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 3–5 years of industry experience, with strong Python skills, SQL proficiency, and cloud experience (AWS). Hybrid schedule with a contract ending in 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, Data Science, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and data platforms (Databricks).
• Experience using version control (Git) and SDLC documentation tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• Ability to collaborate with business, scientific, and IT stakeholders and produce clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver production-ready RESTful APIs for the data processing platform.
• Create and maintain SDLC-compliant documentation for integration with enterprise IT systems.
• Develop, test, and support software applications; ensure quality and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business and technical requirements.
