Job summary

Concord IT Systems in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Python Developer for a contract role. The candidate will contribute to building RESTful APIs and microservices, work with Django/Flask, and implement automated tests. The position is onsite with hybrid options in Charlotte, NC.

Strong Python expertise, data handling with Pandas/NumPy, and experience with threading, event-driven approaches, and Agile practices are required. Familiarity with Git/SVN and Jira is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and web frameworks (Django/Flask).
• Experience with threading and multi-process architecture.
• Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python.
• Experience scheduling jobs or triggering events in code.
• Hands-on with Jira, Agile, and source control (Git, SVN).
• Data cleaning and transformation with Python (Pandas/NumPy, regex).
• Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Web services using Flask and related web apps.
• Strong OOP and scalable design principles.
• Experience implementing automated unit tests.
• Some exposure to Java/Spring is a plus.
