Job summary

Photon is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to own the backend while taking on meaningful UI ownership. You will build scalable APIs and services using Python on the server and deliver rich UI features with Angular.

In this backend-heavy role, you will design robust architectures, implement secure and high-performance solutions, and collaborate closely with product and operations to raise the bar on quality and delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Python expertise.
• Experience with Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Strong experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD.
• Solid understanding of system design, security, and performance.
• Strong communication, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
