Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III specializing in Python, AI, and MLOps to join the Corporate Technology team. You will design and deliver trusted, scalable technology across multiple business functions in an agile environment.

You will build secure production code, productionize models with Python and Spark, modernize ML workflows on Databricks, and manage cloud resources with Terraform and AWS services, ensuring reliability and observability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of applied software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python and Spark data processing
• Experience with Databricks and job configuration
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, EMR, Lambda)
• Terraform for cloud infrastructure and automation
• Monitoring with CloudWatch and Datadog, strong collaboration
• Experience with enterprise AI-assisted development tools and evaluating outputs
• Understanding of responsible AI use and secure data handling

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions with scalable, secure design
• Create secure production code and maintain algorithms
• Use enterprise AI coding tools to improve quality and speed with peer reviews
• Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge to automate value
• Build and support ML platform capabilities on Databricks for risk/fraud models
• Collaborate with model developers to productionize models with Python and Spark
• Modernize ML workflows from SageMaker to Databricks for reliability
• Build infrastructure as code with Terraform to provision cloud resources
• Implement monitoring and alerting with CloudWatch and Datadog for observability
• Tune performance of Databricks and Spark workloads
• Develop automation scripts to reduce manual effort and improve stability
