Job summary

NextEra Energy is seeking a Site Technician to support the Regional Manager in ensuring flawless execution of PGD processes across a solar region. You will perform safety, contractor management, electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, along with asset management and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 50-75% travel, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to interpret fault reports and monitor SCADA systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade school or equivalent preferred.
• Licensure as Electrician is preferred.
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt is a plus.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Reliability engineering and warranty management.
• Operation and basic maintenance of solar and energy storage equipment.
• Electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Safety and Environmental program stewardship.
• Supervisory duties of employees and contractors.
