Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources is seeking a PV Solar Field Tech Leader to guide a team of technicians in the safe installation, operation, and maintenance of photovoltaic solar systems across projects. You will work closely with project managers and engineers to meet schedules, quality standards, and safety guidelines, while driving efficiency and reliability.

The role requires leadership experience, 5+ years in the field, and relevant certifications, with on-site responsibilities and relocation

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field.
Valid driver's license (non-CDL).

Responsibilities

Provide leadership to a team of PV solar field technicians, ensuring teamwork and a positive work environment.
Coach and mentor team members while promoting professional development opportunities.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to plan and execute PV solar projects, ensuring schedules, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
Coordinate team activities and allocate resources effectively.
Oversee testing, commissioning, and maintenance of PV solar systems, including modules, inverters, racking systems, and electrical components.
Ensure compliance with design specifications and technical standards.
Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and diagnosing PV solar system issues.
Lead repair and maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize system performance.
Maintain a strong on-site safety culture and conduct regular trainings, inspections, and audits.
