What You Can Expect

As the Senior Technician, you will support projects and clients throughout the Northeastern United States, primarily working with ground mount and commercial rooftop solar units (not residential). Knowledge of IT and SCADA systems is beneficial. You will have strong customer service skills, discussing scheduling of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and recommending solutions for equipment repair or maintenance. Working remotely, you will be responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various solar projects, including:

  • Cleaning and testing panels
  • Troubleshooting inverters
  • Servicing or updating networking/SCADA hardware/software
Daily Responsibilities
  • Review annual preventive maintenance reports to identify issues
  • Provide feedback and plan corrective actions
  • Maintain detailed expense records for all service calls
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • At least 5 years of experience in root cause analysis and repair of solar arrays and inverters

  • Experience troubleshooting PV and electrical systems
Additional Details
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 90%, including overnight trips
  • Compliance with ENGIE safety and ethics policies
Compensation

Hourly range: $41.39 - $68.99 USD, depending on experience and location. Includes potential bonuses and benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
