Hitachi Energy USA Inc. in Jefferson City, Missouri, seeks a Senior Purchasing Manager to lead factory-level procurement ensuring production continuity.

You will develop sourcing strategies and balance cost, quality and delivery while guiding a high-performing team across global functions, inclu ding India, to improve procurement processes and supplier performance.

Lead negotiations, manage spend, and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations in a dynamic energy-focused environment.

Formación

• 10+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership experience managing procurement teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes (sourcing, PO management, supplier management, receiving, invoicing).
• Experience with SAP and other ERP systems in manufacturing.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• 10+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership experience managing or leading procurement teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of the end-to-end procure-to-pay process, including sourcing, purchase order management, supplier management, receiving, and invoicing.
• Experience working with SAP and other ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation, supplier relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
