MGM Transformer Company is seeking an experienced Purchasing Supervisor to lead our purchasing operations and ensure uninterrupted flow of materials for manufacturing. You will drive supplier performance, cost optimization, and inventory management while supporting production schedules.

The role requires a proactive leader with strong procurement expertise, supplier management experience, and a focus on continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field.
• Minimum 8 years purchasing/procurement in manufacturing.
• Experience supervising purchasing professionals and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, support, and develop the purchasing team to drive performance.
• Review, approve, and monitor purchase orders for accuracy and timeliness.
• Proactively manage material availability to maintain production schedules.
• Partner with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Engineering, Quality, and Finance teams.
• Lead supplier negotiations and manage supplier performance metrics.
• Participate in SIOP processes and cross-functional meetings.
