Nippon Paint Automotive Americas Inc. is seeking a seasoned Procurement leader to manage day-to-day purchasing of raw materials and indirect spend categories across North America.

You will develop processes, track KPIs, and collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure cost-effective supply and service levels. The role demands strategic sourcing, contract development, and the ability to lead a team toward aggressive cost-reduction targets while maintaining seamless production

Formación

• Minimum 10 years of purchasing or operations experience in a mid-to-large organization.
• At least 5 years managing global freight and transportation.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related; MBA preferred.
• CPM or CSCP certification desired.
• Chemical industry background preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead team responsible for Raw Material Purchasing and Indirect Spend categories (freight, MRO, equipment, packaging, utilities, services) across all US facilities.
• Lead development and execution of procurement processes aligned with established metrics.
• Own tolling manufacturer relationships and tolling strategy in line with production needs.
• Deliver cost reductions in managed spend categories by pursuing opportunities and negotiating with suppliers.
• Develop contracts and service agreements with suppliers, ensuring service levels and KPIs are met.
• Engage with internal stakeholders, regional groups, and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Locate, qualify, and establish a network of vendors for materials and services.
• Lead SAP and business process improvement initiatives affecting spend areas.
• Prepare bid requests and review supply quotations.
• Lead procurement projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Coach and mentor direct reports and other procurement team members.
