Nexans High Voltage USA Inc. – Charleston site is seeking a Senior Purchaser to lead local purchasing, vendor management, and strategic sourcing for high voltage subsea and land cables. The role focuses on delivering savings, managing RFQ processes, and driving procurement excellence with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of purchasing experience, strong Excel skills, and a results-oriented mindset to support Nexans’ energy transition initiatives from Charleston, SC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 1–5 years of purchasing experience.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Very good Excel analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver purchasing strategies and savings in main categories.
• Oversee Local Site Purchasing and Local Vendor Management and RFQ processes.
• Lead negotiations and manage contracts, ensuring alignment with group purchasing rules.
• Contribute to supplier market analysis and risk mitigation.
• Ensure 3 compliant offers for purchases above $50,000.
