Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Pulsed Power Engineer to research, down-select, fabricate, test, and integrate high-power RF subsystems for directed energy programs, supporting DoD warfighters.

You will lead in lab and field testing, mentor junior staff, and grow toward system-level integration across mechanical, systems, and operational analyses, contributing to next-generation weapons capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pulsed power research, development, and test and evaluation experience.
• 5+ years of experience with high voltage, high peak power spark gaps, HV power supplies, and fast transient diagnostics.
• 2+ years in laboratory or field-testing environments, including test goals, methodologies, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, down-select, fabricate, test, and integrate complex electronic and RF subsystems for directed-energy programs.
• Lead and mentor junior staff on pulsed power engineering and testing activities.
• Conduct scientific analysis and testing in lab and field environments to support DoD warfighter capabilities.
