Job summary

Formlabs in Boston is looking for a Senior PR Manager to own the press narrative, analyst engagement and maker-community visibility for launches and leadership. You will plan earned media, manage embargoes and briefings, and write materials while growing relationships with technology and business press.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in PR or communications, with at least 3 years leading programs at a tech, hardware or consumer electronics company or agency.
• A track record of top-tier coverage in national business, technology and trade media.
• Strong relationships with tech and business journalists.
• Experience running major product launches with embargoes, review units and global timing.
• Excellent writing and editing; ability to explain technical products in plain language.

Responsibilities

• Lead PR efforts for product launches end to end: messaging, press materials, embargoes, briefings, reviews and launch-day coverage.
• Build and run the always-on PR strategy aligned to company goals.
• Grow relationships with business, technology, design, manufacturing and trade press, plus analysts.
• Collaborate on the product reviews program, coordinating reviewers and coverage.
• Raise Formlabs executives’ profile through interviews, bylines, podcasts and speaking opportunities.
• Write and edit press releases, briefing documents, FAQs and Q&A prep.
• Own issues and crisis communications; report on share of voice and impact on traffic and pipeline.
