Meta is seeking a Public Policy Manager to lead external affairs strategy across government, industry groups, and civil society. You will articulate Meta's positions on content governance, data privacy, and competition, and engage senior policymakers to shape regulatory outcomes for Meta's platforms.

You will coordinate with policy, legal, communications, and product teams, monitor legislative developments, and prepare submissions, testimonies, and advocacy materials for external audiences.

Formación

• 8+ years in public policy or external affairs with government engagement.
• Experience developing advocacy strategies on technology policy issues.
• Experience managing relationships with senior officials, trade associations or civil society.
• Experience drafting policy documents and regulatory submissions for external audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute external affairs strategies with government officials, regulatory bodies, coalitions and civil society.
• Represent Meta in direct engagement with policymakers on content governance, data privacy, competition and emerging tech regulation.
• Lead cross-functional coordination across policy, legal, communications and product teams.
• Analyze legislative/regulatory developments to assess business impact and plan responses.
• Draft and review policy submissions, testimony and advocacy materials for external audiences.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior government officials and industry partners.
• Identify policy risks and opportunities; develop mitigation with regional/global policy teams.
• Set goals for external affairs workstreams across multiple policy domains.
• Leverage AI tools to improve policy analysis, stakeholder mapping and advocacy materials.
