Job summary

Artheon is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to join our Neptune, NJ team. The role requires at least 5 years of inspecting public infrastructure projects and a NICET III certification is highly preferred.

You will verify compliance with design specifications, codes, and safety standards while maintaining detailed records and collaborating with engineers. This on-site position reports to the department lead and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years inspecting public infrastructure projects.
• NICET III certification highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and codes/regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of public projects (roads, bridges, utilities) to ensure compliance with plans, specs, and regulations.
• Maintain thorough inspection records, photographs, and reports for clients and authorities.
• Coordinate with project managers/engineers to address issues and ensure quality and safety.
• Monitor contractors to ensure adherence to plans, specs, and safety protocols.
• Communicate updates and findings clearly to clients, contractors, engineers, and regulators.
