Job summary

Artheon is seeking a highly qualified Inspector to join our team in East Brunswick, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience inspecting public projects and will preferably hold NICET III certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience inspecting public infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, utilities).
• NICET III certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and codes/regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to interact with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of public projects to ensure design/specs and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain detailed inspection records, photos, and reports; prepare inspection reports for clients/regulators.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify and address construction/design issues.
• Monitor contractors to ensure adherence to plans, specifications and safety protocols.
• Communicate progress, issues and resolutions with stakeholders clearly and concisely.
