Job summary

Artheon, a trusted engineering and consulting firm, seeks an Inspector to join our Southern New Jersey team in Camden. You will conduct thorough inspections of public infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, codes, and regulations.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of field inspection experience, with NICET III certification highly preferred. You will document findings, coordinate with project managers and regulators, and help maintain safety and quality

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting public infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, utilities)
• NICET III certification preferred in related field
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and industry standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Meticulous documentation and record-keeping

Responsibilities

• Project Inspection: Inspect public projects to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records, photographs, and inspection reports for clients and authorities.
• Quality Control: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address construction/design issues.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure contractors adhere to plans, specs, and safety protocols; take corrective actions as needed.
• Communication: Provide clear updates to clients, contractors, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
