Artheon, a trusted engineering and consulting firm in Southern New Jersey, seeks a Senior Construction Inspector to perform field inspections of public works projects and prepare detailed reports for regulators. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Salem, and Cumberland Counties.

The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in public infrastructure inspection and NICET III certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience inspecting public infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, utilities).
• NICET III certification preferred for related fields.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of public projects to ensure compliance with design specs and regulations.
• Maintain detailed inspection records, photographs, and reports for clients and authorities.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address construction and design issues.
• Monitor contractors to ensure adherence to plans, specs, and safety protocols.
• Communicate progress, issues, and resolutions with stakeholders.
