Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school is mandatory.
- Current Texas Bar license in good standing to practice law in Texas.
- Minimum of 5 years' substantive experience in real estate, MUD, PIDs, PPPs or public law.
- Ability to take a meaningful role in projects and client relationships from day one.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and team engagement.
Responsibilities
- Provide counsel on real estate development, public finance and public law matters.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis for client representation.
- Take an active, meaningful role in ongoing and new projects.
- Interact with clients and build lasting relationships through excellent service.
- Handle matters related to real estate development, MUDs, PIDs, PPPs and public law.
- Ensure compliance in real estate and public finance initiatives.
- Prepare and review contracts and agreements to protect client interests.
