Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Public Cloud Solutions Architect in the US to translate business goals into cloud architecture across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. You will shape strategy, lead landings zones and patterns, and guide delivery teams to secure, scalable solutions.

You will mentor peers, build reference architectures, and advance AI-enabled modernization initiatives. A senior, client-facing role with opportunities for growth and global projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing and delivering enterprise IT solutions, incl. 4+ years public cloud architecture.
• Hands-on experience on at least one hyperscaler and working knowledge of a second; multi-cloud preferred.
• Led cloud migration and modernization programs covering assessment, landing zone, design, and large-scale migrations.
• Strong core cloud domain knowledge: compute, storage, networking, IAM, security, governance.
• Knowledge of containers/Kubernetes, microservices, serverless, and refactoring.
• Hands-on AI/agentic AI solutions on cloud including data foundations and AI/ML services.
• Experience with IaC and automation (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, Ansible) and CI/CD.
• Security by design, FinOps, well-architected frameworks.
• Proven consulting skills: workshops, business cases, ROI, senior stakeholders; lead architect.
• At least one cloud certification (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design landing zones, networking, identity, data and app patterns behind cloud architecture.
• Lead implementation teams to deliver solutions on time and securely.
• Mentor other architects and consultants; develop reference architectures and accelerators.
• Help set delivery standards and governance across engagements.
• Collaborate with hyperscaler partners to align strategy and roadmaps.
• Explore agentic AI capabilities to improve delivery quality and speed.
