State of Washington’s Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) invites applications for the PBS4 – Public Benefits Specialist 4 in the ESA’s Community Service Division. You will independently perform complex eligibility determinations for diverse public assistance programs, and develop and monitor intensive case plans to support BFET and TANF clients.

Responsibilities include coordinating with employment and training providers, preparing service plans, and ensuring accurate data entry

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; twelve months of PBS experience or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret public laws and policies and to make independent decisions.
• Extensive knowledge of Washington Administrative Code (WAC) and program eligibility.
• Excellent oral and written communication with strong customer service.

Responsabilidades

• Determines client eligibility for CSD programs and verifies financial eligibility.
• Screens and refers clients to intensive services and develops case plans.
• Assesses needs and coordinates services with contractors to remove barriers.
• Maintains confidentiality and inputs data across automated systems.
• Provides professional case management and supports LEP services with translators.
