Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in public affairs, public relations, communications, political or campaign environments.
• Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience managing media relations programs and reporter outreach.
• Strong project management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
• Experience with digital communications and social media programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute campaign strategies and tactical plans with senior team members.
• Create high-quality written content: press releases, backgrounders, briefs, op-eds, talking points, blogs.
• Lead media relations: press lists, pitches, reporter outreach for assigned accounts.
• Manage timelines, tracking and reporting for clients.
• Engage with clients on progress, budgets and strategic recommendations.
• Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Mentor junior team members on execution best practices.
• Support account management with scoping, timelines and budget oversight.
