Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of public accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA license or CPA candidate desirable.
• ProSystem suite experience including Tax, Document, Engagement, Practice Management, Scan, and Fixed Assets.
• Ability to manage engagements from planning to finish, including tax and audit.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with manufacturing, distribution and construction industries is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Run either income tax or audit and other assurance engagements from start to finish including planning and managing engagements.
• Utilize strong analytical skills to identify key points of interest and adjust engagement functions as necessary.
• Interact professionally with clients and all staff levels.
• Possess ability to multi-task and complete assignments in a timely manner.

Job Requirements

• Run either Income tax or audit and other assurance engagements from start to finish including planning and managing engagements.
• Utilize strong analytical skills to identify key points of interest and adjust engagement functions as necessary.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing, distribution and construction industries, a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to provide clients with superior service along with the ability to interact professionally with clients and all staff levels.
• Ability to multi-task and complete assignments in a timely manner.
• Proficient with ProSystem suite; including Tax, Document, Engagement, Practice Management, Scan, and Fixed Assets.
• Limited preparation of S-corporation, C-corporation, partnership, and individual tax returns.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA license or candidate for CPA exam is highly desirable.
• 5 to 10 years Public Accounting experience.
• Potential for future advancement in the firm.
• Compensation is commensurate with experience.
