Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a physical therapist.
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy curriculum with a Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral degree and licensure.
• California Physical Therapist License required at hire.
• National Provider Identifier required at hire.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of the Director, Assistant Director, or Clinical Supervisor.
• Provides department in-service sessions (e.g., journal club presentations).
• Serves as a clinical instructor as requested by management.
• Assists in orientation and training of employees as needed.
• Provides consultation to staff.
• May mentor staff and contribute to clinical competency.
• Identifies process improvement opportunities.
• May collaborate on new clinical practice models for care delivery.
• Participates in performance improvement projects or committees.
• May monitor PTAs and Rehab Aides in Kaiser and non-Kaiser facilities.
• Performs other duties within the scope of practice.
