Pearson seeks a Specialist, Psychometrician to apply advanced psychometric methods across Pearson’s assessment programs. The role covers item calibration, linking and equating, development of test forms, and field test plans.

Strong knowledge of CTT and IRT, plus experience with SAS/R/Python, is required. Candidates should demonstrate leadership in cross-functional teams and commitment to standards.

Qualificações

• Doctoral degree in educational measurement or a closely related field from a nationally recognized institution of higher education
• Relevant professional experience in operational assessment programs with psychometric issues
• Experience with psychometric methodologies across contexts
• Ability to apply AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency and innovation
• Experience with development and documentation of processes across programs
• Conducts item calibration, linking, and equating analyses under guidance
• Develops linear test forms and designs field test plans
• Supports operational research studies and detailed research specifications
• Promotes Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing

Responsabilidades

• Applies psychometric methodologies across new and complex operational testing contexts
• Provides, and documents, full range of psychometric support on development across programs
• Performs analyses for item calibration, linking, equating; develops linear test forms
• Designs field test plans and conducts calibration studies under supervision
• Supports operational research studies and write formal reports for dissemination
• Represents psychometrics in cross-functional settings
