Job summary

NBCOT, Inc. is seeking a Senior Psychometrician to advance psychometric oversight, conduct practice analyses, and guide standard setting for occupational therapy assessments. You will lead advanced analyses, design AI-assisted tools, and deliver actionable research for certification programs.

The role emphasizes collaboration, technical reporting, and mentoring, with responsibilities spanning data integrity, exam development, and evidence-based decision making.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in measurement/psychometrics/etc. with 3+ years in a psychometrician role, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of psychometric theory and measurement concepts (validity, reliability, CTT, IRT).
• Experience with practice analyses, standard-setting, and exam development processes is preferred.
• Knowledge of machine learning and NLP is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Designs practice analyses and competency modeling to define knowledge, skills, and requirements for occupational therapy practice.
• Establishes passing standards using psychometric methods and performs advanced statistical analyses (Rasch, DIF, equating, scaling).
• Designs AI-driven tools to support psychometrics, exam development, and operational efficiency.
• Conducts psychometric research, prepares technical reports, and communicates findings to diverse audiences.
• Provides psychometric consultation and collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
