Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Psychology Subject Matter Expert to support the U.S. Department of Energy and Counterintelligence (DOE-IN) contract.

Positions will be based in the Washington, D.C area, performing specialized psychological and insider threat work for national security. The role requires a Top Secret clearance and extensive experience applying psychology to national security, including threat assessment and risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance required.
• Master’s Degree, PhD, PsyD, or MD in clinical psychology.
• 10+ years applying psychology to national security.
• Special expertise in identifying and interpreting behaviors related to national security.
• Experience using understanding of predispositions, mental health issues, and behaviors to conduct threat assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological and insider threat consultation regarding detection, deterrence, mitigation and response.
• Consult on polygraph issues from a medical or psychological perspective.
• Support development, delivery, and updating of insider threat awareness education content and training materials.
