Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission is seeking a Psychologist III to perform advanced psychological work in the San Antonio State Hospital. You will supervise staff, review behavior support plans, and coordinate services with unit directors.

Requires a Texas-licensed psychologist with a doctoral degree and relevant inpatient experience. Travel is possible; telework is not available as a standard option.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology.
• At least 3 years of experience in inpatient psychiatric settings.
• Minimum 2 years of supervising psychological/behavioral staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and consultation to psychology staff to ensure effectiveness.
• Evaluate services and develop improvement plans to meet laws, standards, and policies.
• Coordinate and integrate psychological services across facility units for consistency.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and agency policy.
