Job summary

Community Behavioral Health in Philadelphia, PA seeks a Psychologist Advisor to provide clinical leadership through oversight of the clinical management of members, consulting on quality of care, decision making, case formulations, and safety concerns.

The role involves reviewing cases, collaborating with providers and stakeholders, participating in training, and serving as a consultant to multiple CBH departments.

Qualifications

• Clinical leadership and oversight of clinical management for CBH members.
• Consultation on quality of care, decision making, and case formulations.
• Experience across home, community, and school settings; licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Performs reviews for community-based and/or children and family services per NCQA/state regs to improve outcomes.
• Engages with providers and stakeholders on placement, treatment response, and coordination of care.
• Participates in quality reviews for member complaints and agency reviews.
• Participates in clinical and administrative meetings representing medical affairs.
• Provides training with internal and external stakeholders as required.
• Reviews cases for medical necessity across levels of care.
• Performs peer reviews for disputed levels of care.
• Interacts with providers on clinical and administrative matters.
• Serves as consultant for CBH Clinical Division and supports multidisciplinary approach in Medical Affairs.
• Serves as consultant for Network Development, Performance Evaluation, and Program Integrity.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
