Job summary

LifePath Systems seeks a Psychiatrist to deliver comprehensive psychiatric care across a broad spectrum of physical, mental, behavioral, and social conditions. The role emphasizes trauma‑informed, person‑centered treatment and collaboration with diverse teams to empower individuals in guiding their treatment plans.

The psychiatrist will ensure labs and screenings are properly ordered, document clearly in the EHR, and participate in referrals and recovery planning within the LifePath Systems

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Texas Board of Medical Examiners license in good standing.
• DEA certificate required.
• Unrestricted eligibility for Medicare/Medicaid participation.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation and complex clinical care.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications with monitoring.
• Coordinate care with LifePath Systems' treatment programs.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and document in EHR.
