• Hold a license as a Registered Nurse (Maine State Board of Nursing).

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides general and psychiatric nursing care to patients.
• Oversees unit work, inventories supplies, and ensures timely administration of medications.
• Trains students and paraprofessionals in nursing methods and maintains medical records.
• Writes progress notes and reports patient status to the care team.
• Performs clinical duties with supervision as needed and responds to emergencies.
