Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with RN license and PMHNP board certification in the practice state.
• 5+ years clinical RN experience and 3 years as Psychiatric APRN preferred; new grads welcome.
• Prescriptive privileges eligible; geriatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, care and treatment to patients.
• Coordinate with attending physicians and interdisciplinary team for continuity of care.
• Ensure documentation is complete for medical necessity and billing purposes; communicate billing details.
• Administer and adjust psychotropic treatments under collaboration with the Psychiatrist.
