Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) seeks a leader to plan and direct provider recruitment and contracting activities in the Austin market. You will educate providers on plan benefits, policies, procedures, and reimbursement processes, and provide ongoing provider service and support.

You will resolve complex provider issues, serve as a liaison between providers and internal partners, and train new and existing network staff, with field-based responsibilities in Texas requiring travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or 6 years leadership experience.
• 4 years in claims, customer service, physician office or hospital or healthcare environment.
• 3 years in physician/provider relations, including contracting and reimbursement.
• Ability to negotiate and contract with healthcare providers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to multi-task; meet deadlines under pressure.
• Willingness to travel within assigned areas of responsibility, including overnight stays.
