Job summary

University Health KC is seeking a Credentialist II to manage all phases of Provider Enrollment credentialing. The role supports Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care processes, ensuring accurate, timely credentialing and data maintenance in the credentialing software and CAQH systems.

The position requires 2 years of credentialing experience in a hospital or medical office setting, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication to coordinate with medical staff and managed care partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years’ hospital or medical office credentialing experience.
• Experience with practitioner administrative activities.
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Performs all phases of credentialing for initial appointments and reappointments for Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintains credentialing data in the software/database and paper files as needed.
• Prepares, sends, and tracks credentialing applications and related correspondence for verification and attestation.
• Maintains and re-attests CAQH data for applicable practitioners.
