Job summary

Colégios Embraer is seeking a Prototype Test and Validation Engineer to coordinate prototype fabrication, testing, and validation activities in accordance with engineering documentation. The role includes safety assessments, coordinating resources, and supporting project teams with quotations and specifications.

The candidate will lead safety initiatives across lab operations, manage daily activities, and ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Prior experience with prototype and mockup development, fabrication, and test/validation is preferred.
• Strong safety background and ability to manage lab environments and processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as safety representative for EH&S in labs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate prototype fabrication, testing setups, and tool usage.
• Develop engineering packages for prototypes and test/validation activities per requirements.
• Plan and manage lab capacity, tools, materials, and schedules.
• Provide guidance and supervision to technicians and support staff.
