Job summary

Colégios Embraer is seeking a Prototype Test and Validation Engineer to coordinate the development and fabrication of prototypes and mockups, and to plan and execute tests in alignment with specifications and drawings.

The role requires safety assessments, leadership of the lab safety program, and collaboration with project teams to ensure quality, schedule, and cost goals. On-site position in Melbourne, FL with opportunity to contribute to aerospace prototype activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years in prototype/mockup development and test labs (aerospace preferred).
• Strong knowledge of safety compliance, risk assessment, and lab operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate prototype fabrication activities and testing per specs.
• Ensure safety policies and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA).
• Plan daily activities and capacity for lab teams.
• Develop engineering packages for prototype/interior mockups.
• Support project managers with technical estimates and documents.
• Maintain calibration plans and testing equipment.
