City and County of Denver seeks an Associate Deputy District Attorney with prosecutorial experience to join the Organized Crime Unit in Denver. The role focuses on complex, multi‑defendant prosecutions and coordination with local, state, and federal agencies.

Salary ranges from $119,763 to $136,069 and offers comprehensive benefits including pension, 457B, PTO, holidays, and medical/dental/vision plans. Position is on-site at Republic Plaza, Denver, CO.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: Doctor of Jurisprudence degree or Bachelor of Laws degree.
• Experience requirement: Five (5) years of experience as an attorney at law as a prosecutor.
• Licenses: Colorado license to practice law by hire date or expected licensure.
• Driver's license is required at time of application.

Responsabilités

• Investigate and prosecute organized crime, gang‑related violence, and large narcotic distribution cases.
• Manage complex, multi‑defendant prosecutions including conspiracies and organized crime groups.
• Charge cases through complaint and information, handle grand jury indictments, and try cases before a jury.
• Provide guidance to detectives and agents during active investigations.
• Review warrants and direct investigative follow‑up.
• Collaborate with law enforcement partners to identify emerging gang trends.
