Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Propulsion Hardware Development Engineer to develop and improve manufacturing processes for the Aeon-R engine. With a focus on high-performance engineering, you will work closely with design and production teams, ensuring designs are manufacturable and production-ready.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and have over 5 years of experience in relevant engineering fields. The position offers a competitive salary between $132,000 and $181,500, as well as comprehensive benefits including PTO and parental leave.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Experience in thermodynamics, structures, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer.
• Hands-on experience with development and qualification testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes for high-rate engine production.
• Work with design teams to simplify propulsion systems.
• Participate in design reviews and DFM initiatives.
• Design test setups and execute testing of systems.
• Implement corrective actions for test failures.
• Design and procure tooling for manufacturing.
• Maintain development schedules for build and test.
