Job Summary:

The Senior Proposals Pricing Analyst will help drive growth and sustain the needs of our business by participating in the proposal and customer onboarding processes. In this role they will conduct claims analysis, create deliverables, and develop dashboards to assist various teams in illustrating the SmithRx value proposition to potential and current clients, as well as consultants, brokers, and other business partners. The Senior Proposals Pricing Analyst will interface with internal teams across the organization (sales, marketing, analytics, clinical, account management, implementation, etc.) to provide savings and disruption insights for potential and existing clients.


In order to be eligible for this position applicants must be based in one of the following states : Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin.

What you will do:

  • Independently ascertain how to query the necessary data from large data sets and generate ad hoc analysis with clear insights
  • Leverage historical claims data and provide reporting that enables the smooth onboarding of new clients and supports a positive member experience
  • Assist in preparing deliverables for sales that illustrate the company’s value
  • Ensure high quality, “client ready” deliverables through an audit/evaluation process and personal accountability
  • Execute deep-dive analyses and investigations into large datasets and provide clear insights on findings
  • Track and manage deliverables status via Salesforce and manage development tasks inJira
  • Clearly communicate with internal stakeholders and external partners through email,slack, phone, video call, etc.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to illustrate other potential impact from implementing SmithRxas a pharmacy benefit solution
  • Develop a complete understanding of reporting needs and work cross-functionally withvarious teams and stakeholders to scope projects and develop self-service BI reportingand automation when whenever relevant
  • Continuously analyze and evaluate existing reporting processes, identifyinginefficiencies, gaps, and proactively deploy creative solutions to enhance operationaleffectiveness

What you will bring to SmithRx:

  • 5+ years professional experience in an Analytics role at a pharmacy benefit manager with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree
  • Strong analytical skills – ability to work with data and develop key insights
  • Highly self-motivated, adaptable, and willing to work collaboratively in a fast-paced andfast-growing business environment
  • Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SQL, Adobe, Tableau, and Looker
  • Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate multiple projectssimultaneously
  • High attention to detail and quality of output in a fast-paced business environment
  • Ability to collaborate constructively and positively with teammates and partners, evenunder the stress of a fast-paced business environment
