Formación

• Bachelor degree preferred in English, communications, business or related field.
• Experience supporting federal/state/government contracting is a plus.
• Strong proposal writing and editing capabilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of DoD, BASOPS, construction, IT or engineering contracts is advantageous.

Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid/remote Senior Proposal Writer role. The Senior Proposal Writer will lead the development, writing, and organization of compliant, compelling proposals in response to federal, state, and commercial RFPs and other solicitations. Responsibilities include analyzing RFP requirements, collaborating with subject matter experts, developing win themes, and producing clear, persuasive technical, management, and past performance content. The role involves managing proposal schedules, supporting proposal reviews, editing and formatting narrative and graphics, and ensuring adherence to KETA’s proposal standards and branding. The Senior Proposal Writer will also contribute to proposal templates, best practices, and knowledge management to strengthen KETA’s overall business development capabilities.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong proposal management and RFP analysis skills to lead and coordinate complex proposal efforts.
• Candidates should possess advanced proposal writing and technical writing skills to produce clear, accurate, and persuasive content.
• Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present information effectively.
• Experience with federal, defense, or state government contracting environments and familiarity with SBA 8(a) and HUBZone programs is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting are required.
• Proficiency with common proposal and document tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, PDF editing, collaboration platforms) is expected.
• A bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, Technical field, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience, is preferred.
• Prior experience in a senior-level proposal or capture role supporting DoD, BASOPS, construction, IT, engineering, or related services is a plus.
