Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Senior Proposal Specialist to join our Strategic Bid Center. This hybrid role requires three days in the office and a US-based office location, with responsibility for end-to-end RFP/bid responses and persuasive content development.

You will collaborate with consultants, sales, and creatives to craft compelling value propositions, manage large, complex proposals, and drive strategy with AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business, journalism, marketing, English, communication, or public relations preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, sales or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams.

Responsibilities

• Writes persuasive proposal/presentation content and executive summaries tailored to readers.
• Reviews RFPs to ensure complete understanding of submission requirements.
• Identifies strategic opportunities within proposals to increase client value.
• Formulates opportunity strategy with Client Managers and consulting teams.
• Determines research needs and delegates as appropriate.
• Coordinates with design team on storyboarding and visual concepts.
• Manages proposal/presentation development for both small and large projects.
• Embraces AI and technology-enabled tools.
