Job Description

CDM Smith is expanding its Federal Services marketing team. We’re seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist with experience in proposals to secure contracts in environmental remediation, infrastructure, and facility construction. This position offers in-office, hybrid, or remote work options within the United States.

As part of our team, you will engage in business development for multimillion-dollar U.S. government opportunities nationwide and internationally.

Responsibilities Include

• Research federal contract opportunities, competitors, and potential partners.
• Analyze FedBizOpps synopses, RFPs, and solicitation documents.
• Develop proposals and presentations using a theme-based approach.
• Write and edit complex federal proposal content.
• Utilize AI tools to develop and refine proposal content, graphics, and presentations.
• Coordinate proposal teams, including management, technical, financial, graphic design, and production staff.
• Travel occasionally across the country for meetings and proposal efforts.

Qualifications

Minimum

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 6 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally.

Preferred

• B.A. or B.S. in Communications, English, Business, Journalism, or related fields.
• Experience with federal government proposals, AI tools like ChatGPT and CoPilot, MS Office 365, SharePoint, Adobe Creative Suite, and business development models.

Additional Information

Travel requirement: approximately 10%. Employment type: full-time. No visa sponsorship available. Background checks and drug testing may be required. Salary range: $77,667 - $128,128. Work location: fully remote or hybrid options.
