Hoffman Construction Company is seeking a Writer and Marketing Proposal Specialist to join the in-house marketing team. You will write and develop proposals, articles, presentations, brochures, and award submittals by collaborating with executives, leads, project managers, field staff, and designers.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of industry experience in AEC marketing, journalism, or grant writing.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred.
• Ability to translate industry jargon into clear, engaging storytelling.
• Proficiency with MS Office; Adobe InDesign experience preferred.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead in preparing narrative content for proposals with input from SMEs.
• Distill complex info into a compelling story with a consistent voice.
• Meet proposal deadlines by mapping requirements and milestones.
• Focus on continuous improvement of process, approach, and presentation.
• Organize marketing collateral such as boilerplate, resumes, and portfolios.
• Work in a deadline-driven environment; occasional weekends and evenings may be required.
