Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of related multi-line underwriting experience.
• Existing producer relationships preferred.
• Demonstrated negotiation and production skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Selects and underwrites complex property risks within delegated underwriting authority.
• Reviews applications to determine acceptability of risk per guidelines and standards.
• Monitors underwriting results, premium and loss trends for assigned book.
• Delivers quality service to brokers and customers within service metrics; develops broker relationships.
• Sources new business opportunities through a strong broker network.
• Documents accounts per regulatory and internal guidelines.
• Coordinates producer and client visits with related business units to grow new business.
• Assists in training and development of department staff.
