Job summary

KPMG LLP in Dallas is seeking a Senior Associate, Property Tax to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice. You will work with multi-state clients to prepare and review property tax returns, assess notices, and help ensure timely payments using PTMS.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of related experience, a bachelor's degree, and preferably professional taxation credentials; strong analytical abilities and knowledge of property tax processes across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; professional taxation credentials preferred
• J.D., LL.M. in taxation or MST preferred
• Experience with PTMS and property tax returns
• Strong understanding of the development, planning, and execution related to property tax

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent client service to multi-state companies with property tax compliance
• Evaluate information presented on property tax returns before, during, and after preparation
• Assist in property tax bill payment and return preparation using PTMS
• Review assessment notices to identify any discrepancies

Education

Bachelor's degree

J.D./LL.M. in taxation; MST preferred
