Job description

As a critical member of our Asset Services team, you would contribute directly to the success of our tenants and their scientific discoveries by providing white-glove services to the tenants, supporting our facilities team, and collaborating with building staff and other stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Oversee day-to-day operations of portfolio, including all aspects of property management, to ensure smooth tenant relations and efficient operations of portfolio.
2. Manage financial operations of the portfolio, including accounting and financial reporting, scheduled reporting requirements, reconciliation of financial statements and operating expenses, rent collection, and development of operating budgets.
3. Develop and mentor the property management team as part of talent development for continued and future growth.
4. Direct and manage facilities maintenance, tenant improvement, and capital projects, adhering to maintenance schedule, timeline, and budget accordingly.
5. Manage third-party vendors, including building engineers and on-site contractors.
6. Participate in property operations set-up, to include back-of-the house operations, major building equipment commissioning, and operations and engineering team oversight.
7. Comply with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
8. Engage, communicate, and build relationships with tenants, and address concerns or requests in a timely manner.
9. Collaborate closely with regional team, supporting projects, tours, and tenant engagement requests as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or commensurate with experience.
2. Minimum 7 years of experience in property management, commercial real estate experience required.
3. Strong technical knowledge and experience with complex building and management systems.
4. Strong operations experience, knowledge, and experience with full life cycle of building preferred.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Highly collaborative and experience managing and coaching direct reports.
7. Strong financial analysis and reporting skills required.
8. Advanced proficiency in MS Office.

The expected base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $165,000 USD annually, plus annual discretionary bonus. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the consideration of many factors, which may include, but are not limited to: the individual’s knowledge, experience, education, qualifications, skills, job location, and the Company’s compensation practices.
