Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking an LPC Senior Property Manager to lead all aspects of a portfolio of commercial, industrial, or retail properties. You will coordinate marketing, operations, and financial activities, and may supervise other managers.

The role is 100% in-office, located in Washington, DC, with a focus on financial stewardship, lease administration, and tenant relations across the asset portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; 5–8 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Real Estate License required where local regulation mandates it; CPM or RPA preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office; knowledge of Yardi, MRI and Kardin is preferred; AP and CMMS proficiency required.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary contact with property owners and prepare reports.
  • Manage tenant relations to maximize retention and service quality.
  • Prepare monthly operating and annual capital expense budgets; deliver variance analysis.
  • Oversee lease administration, contract terms, and expirations/covenants.
  • Oversee procurement activities and vendor contract compliance.
  • Supervise assigned staff; conduct evaluations and develop team members.
  • Ensure regular property inspections and approve necessary alterations and maintenance.

Job description

As an LPC Senior Property Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of a single asset or portfolio of commercial, industrial, or retail properties, coordinating all marketing, operations, and financial activities for one or more clients. You may also supervise other managers working directly on your asset or managing other assets and portfolios.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Act as primary contact with property owners, serving as Owner Representative to ensure client objectives are being met; prepare and deliver timely, accurate, and complete reports as required.
  • Manage team response to tenant needs across the asset or portfolio; craft, deliver, and communicate an effective tenant care program that maximizes tenant retention.
  • Direct preparation and delivery of timely, accurate, and insightful monthly reports and annual budgets for operating and capital expenses consistent with client and company requirements.
  • Primary responsibility for all lease administration activities; maintain oversight of contracted terms that impact financial performance; report on expirations, covenants, restrictions, and other encumbrances.
  • Proactively collect rent and other charges; report AR status to clients with action recommendations; prepare client-approved legal notices.
  • Direct sourcing and procurement activities; may conduct consolidated sourcing to achieve savings across the portfolio; manage vendor contract compliance.
  • Provide formal supervision to assigned team; oversee recruiting, hiring, training, and development; conduct performance evaluations; mentor and coach as needed.
  • Ensure monthly or more frequent property inspections; recommend and approve alterations, maintenance, and reconditioning.
  • Document emergency response plans; ensure resources are in place; orchestrate drills and training.
  • Drives strong results from direct reports by providing appropriate work direction, strategic guidance, and performance management.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Real Estate License required where mandatory by local regulation. CPM or RPA professional designation or candidacy preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel. Knowledge of Yardi or MRI and Kardin preferred. AP and CMMS proficiency required.
  • Experience with commercial office, retail, and industrial properties required. Working knowledge of leases, contracts, financial instruments, property taxes, and construction required.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles; ability to forecast outcomes, prepare budgets with long-term capital plans, deliver insightful variance reports, and make financial recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and analytical skills; ability to lead the exchange of sensitive and complex information.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and skills to empower teams to achieve a broad range of client and company objectives.

Pay Range

$120,000 - $120,000 USD
