The Senior Property Manager oversees all aspects of property operations at multiple locations, including revenue collection, expense management, resident relations, and staff management.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure properties meet contractual and operational obligations—safety, security, maintenance, marketing, landscaping, etc.
• Develop and manage operating and capital expense budgets aligned with owner goals.
• Oversee major capital projects like HVAC, roofing, and parking lot surfacing.
• Conduct operational reviews and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate, compliant property documentation.
• Coordinate revenue collection and manage accounts receivable.
• Manage resident relations and coordinate maintenance requests.
• Ensure compliance with funding source requirements (e.g., LIHTC, Public Housing).
• Participate in hiring processes and onboarding.
• Provide performance feedback and manage employee development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years in property management.
• Supervisory experience including budgeting and compliance.
• Experience with Public Housing, Section 8, Tax Credits preferred.
• Flexible scheduling and ability to travel up to 10%.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and build relationships across organizational levels.
